Pimento cheese Dip is a cheese spread made with cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, and spices with pimento peppers.

In the Southern states of the U.S., this popular cheese spread/dip is served at many social gatherings.

This spread/dip is perfect when hosting a party or bringing to that last-minute invitation to dinner, potlucks, or just about any other reason you need something in 5 minutes to whip up.

This tastes great on sandwiches, spread on crackers, dipped with assorted vegetables and so much more.

It is easy to throw together when in a hurry and is one of the tastiest for cheese and pepper lovers.

Easy Steps for Making Pimento Cheese Spread

  1. Place the cream cheese in a blender and pulse until fluffy and smooth
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and pulse to the desired consistency
  3. Chill 1 hour before serving see below for serving suggestions

Pimento Cheesy Spread

Pimento cheese Dip is a cheese spread made with cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, and spices with pimento peppers.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1- 7 ounce jar of pimento peppers ( save a few for garnish)
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 teaspoon spicy brown or Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder and 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Garnish: green pimento stuffed olives, strips of pimento peppers, dried parsley, or freshly chopped

Instructions

  1. Place the cream cheese in a food processor and pulse until smooth and fluffy. Add all the rest of the ingredients and pulse until smooth or if you like your chunky just pulse a few seconds.
  2. Pour this into a covered serving bowl and chill 1 hour before serving.
  3. Serve with suggestions under notes below.

  1. My Aunt Marie use to make this when ever I stayed over. Over loved it. I think I might surprise Chris with this this week. I like that it is done in the oven. My aunt use to do it on the stove top but I like that this does not require standing over the stove. Thank you for sharing this!
