Fresh Fruit Marshmallow Salad Recipe

Here is a delightful bowl of fluffy Ambrosia Salad with a bowl brimming with nature's finest luscious ripe fresh fruits!

This is one of my favorite fruit salad recipes, with marshmallows and assorted fruits it's very similar to ambrosia but with all summer's bounty of freshness!

This creation is a combination of unique flavors that you can hand pick yourself and the perfect dessert for any picnic and BBQ!

Whether you are a plump grape lover or a chunky diced peach lover, these fresh fruits can all be in one bowl of a luscious creamy confection.

Step-by-Step 

  1. prepare the fruits removing the seeds, stems, and pits plus cube them in small pieces
  2. mix the juice and pudding until smooth
  3. add the fruits to the mixture
  4. fold the whipped topping in
  5. decorate the top with more fruit

  1. red raspberries,
  2. mango cubed,
  3. papaya,
  4. sliced peaches,
  5. sliced plums,
  6. fresh cubed figs
  7. strawberries
  8. kiwis
  9. bananas
  10. oranges
  11. boysenberries

Shopping List

  • French vanilla pudding (small package)
  • fresh mandarin oranges peeled and sectioned
  • fresh cubed pineapple
  • pineapple juice
  • shredded coconut
  • fresh blueberries
  • fresh red or blackberries
  • fresh green grapes halved
  •  pitted fresh cherries ( save a few for the top)
  •  miniature marshmallows
  • whipped topping thawed



Tips

  1. always mix the pudding with juice until smooth
  2. make an assortment of your favorite fruits
  3. if using bananas dip them in lemon juice so they don't brown
  4. make sure the whipped topping is thawed first
  5. remove all pits, stems, and seeds from any fruits you're using

Fresh Fruit Marshmallow Salad Recipe

This is a delicious fresh fruit salad with marshmallows and whipped topping. A true delight at any bbq

Ingredients

  • 1 package of instant French vanilla pudding (small package)
  • 3 fresh mandarin oranges peeled and sectioned
  • 2 cups fresh cubed pineapple
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh red or blackberries
  • 2 cups fresh green grapes
  • 2 cups halved and pitted fresh cherries ( save a few for the top)
  • 1/2 10-ounce bag of miniature marshmallows
  • 1 large container of whipped topping thawed (at around 2 cups)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl mix the juice with instant pudding.
  2. Add all the fruits then marshmallows, and fold in the whipped topping.
  3. Sprinkle with coconut.
  4.  Refrigerate overnight or at least 2 hours before serving.
