Dutch Apple Blueberry Pie Recipe

This is an easy apple blueberry pie with a Dutch streusel-like topping
Ingredients
- 4 apples pared and sliced
- 1 cup blueberries
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 uncooked prepared pie shell deep dish (i use a frozen one any brand)
- Clean, pare and slice apples. In a medium size, bowl add the apples, blueberries, cornstarch, sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Mix together until well blended. Set aside
- Dutch Apple Crumb topping:
- In another bowl add :
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons butter softened
- Mix until crumbly.
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Line a baking pie plate with the premade pie crust (this can be freshly made, frozen or from a pre-packaged boxed kind)
- Place the apple/blueberry mixture in the prepared pie crust dish, and sprinkle with Dutch crumb topping.
- Bake at 350 until browned and bubbling around 45 minutes.
