Crockpot Mushroom Chicken, Peppers and Tomato Sauce and Bow Tie Pasta Recipe


1 large 28 ounce can tomato sauce
1/2 cup white wine
2 large bell peppers sliced and cleaned
1 pound fresh baby bella mushrooms sliced
1 pound bow tie pasta boiled to package directions
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 cup grating cheese
2 pound boneless chicken breasts

In a 5 quart crockpot, sprayed with cooking oil. Add the chicken breast to the pot, tomato sauce, wine, spices, seasonings, mushrooms, peppers add salt and pepper to taste.  Cook on low 6 to 8 hours. Boil pasta to package instructions. Drain. Add pasta to a plate. Top with chicken, sauce and sprinkle with grating cheese and dried parsley.

Claudia, Just got home after being away for 6 weeks and you have so many wonderful dishes waiting for me to read! This one looks perfectly delicious…I love that you used your crockpot! Makes for such an easy meal!!
