Friday, August 13, 2021
What better way to celebrate a Friday the 13th other than have party foods and watching a rerun of the blockbuster movie from 1980 drinking a campfire-style S'more Martini Cocktail?

Ari Lehman was the first Jason Voorhees portraying this blood-curdling serial killer and the movie remains popular now in the 2000s.

Jason's mom was the camp cook (Mrs. Pamela Voorhees played by Betsy Palmer) has inspired some of our fun camp foods on any given Friday the 13th we have some great meal ideas linked below to join the party with this yummy cocktail today.

Being avid fans of the movies, we traditionally rewatch this favorite horror series and partake in foods consisting of anything bacon, fun-shaped meatloaf, and a few other fun (even Halloween-style) treats, then wash it all down with this chocolaty S'more Cocktail.

If you're a fan, make every Friday the 13th a fun holiday and tradition the day with watching the series and cooking some camp foods, it's a fun night for horror film buffs.

Also, since this is Kevin Bacon's first theatrical film, bacon must be on the menu!

  7. I have seen that cake vodka, very tempting item just to try by itself. However, the excellent selection of goodies outside of the vodka that make up this drink really does intrigue. This is one drink that is extra special in my book-yum!
