Delicious pepperoni roll-up appetizers are just the perfect finger for a large crowd and any party event when you need something quick, delicious and easy!

This is a no-fuss way to make a party food a big hit every time, the fillings are versatile so change them to any meats or even vegetables you prefer.

Easy Pepperoni Rolls Premade Dough Ideas

  • if you can't find refrigerator biscuit dough use pie crust, pizza dough, or homemade empanada dough the only change will be the cooking times
  • make them different shapes with our suggestions below using a cookie cutter
  • cut the dough in half and use a muffin tin fill and add a top and bottom dough layer

Optional Filling Combinations for Stuffing Dough Balls:

  1. Note: for all multiple stuffing ingredients use two packages of dough and make larger crescent dough balls
  2. Philly Steak Stuffed Dough Balls: finely chopped  cooked ribeye steak, sauteed onions chopped, provolone cheese
  3. Pepperoni Pizza Stuffed Dough: finely chopped pepperoni, tomato sauce, and shredded mozzarella or provolone
  4. Chicken Parm Stuffing: cooked finely chopped diced breaded chicken, tomato sauce, and mozzarella cheese 
  5. Crab Stuffed Dough: crab meat, minced garlic, cream cheese
  6. Shrimp and Spinach Stuffed Dough: baby shrimp or scallops chopped, chopped fresh spinach, minced garlic, and cream cheese
  7. Hawaiian Style Stuffing: chopped ham, pineapple, mixed with cream cheese and shredded cheddar
  8. Pepper Poppers Stuffing: jalapeno, cream cheese, white sharp shredded cheddar
  9. Italian Sausage Stuffing: cooked loose Italian sausage, finely chopped roasted peppers, chopped olives, mozzarella, minced garlic
  10. Lobster Lovers Stuffing: lobster chopped, cream cheese or jack cheese, minced garlic
  11. Chicken Marsala Stuffing: diced cooked chicken, a dash of marsala wine, provolone cubed granulated garlic powder, 
  12. Vegetarian:  small pieces of cauliflower, or chopped broccoli, minced garlic, finely chopped spinach, sundried tomatoes, shredded mozzarella, romano cheese, artichoke hearts, green beans cooked
  13. Southern Style Stuffed Dough Balls: ground breakfast-style cooked sausage of any kind, shredded Monterey cheese or cheddar

Refrigerator Biscuit Pepperoni Rollups

Super easy appetizers that are the perfect finger foods for a large crowd. These come together fast using refrigerator dough and we have many filling suggestions to try!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of refrigerator rolls or crescent rolls
  • 24 thin slices or small chunks of pepperoni or another deli meat you prefer (salami, capicola, roast beef)
  • around 1/4 cup or more of Parmesan grated cheese
  • enough granulated garlic powder for the top of each roll
  • cooking oil butter spray, olive oil, or melted butter
  • Optional: dried oregano, dried parsley dried basil, ground black pepper
  • shredded mozzarella for each roll around 1 tablespoon for each or use your favorite shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Unroll the biscuits.
  2. Flatten to a thin 1/4 inch with your fingers on a cutting board.
  3. Brush each one with cooking oil spray, olive oil or butter.
  4. Place some shredded cheese on the dough then pepperoni slices.
  5. Sprinkle the pepperoni with small amounts of Parmesan, spices, and herbs if using.
  6. Roll up.
  7. Place on a parchment-lined or foil cookie sheet.
  8. Spray with butter cooking spray or brush with more olive oil and sprinkle with oregano and garlic powder on top or all the dried herbs on each one if using.
  9. Bake at 400-degree oven till browned on top around 10 to 15 minutes.
