Kentucky Bourbon Pie

A quick and easy dessert during the holiday if you keep long hours at work and need something comforting.
I have very little time now except at night around midnight when I bake or post anything, I apologize if I haven't commented to some of you. Christmas in Retail means 14 hours or longer days. Hope you have a wonderful blessed season, thanks for your understanding... Will try and catch up best I can.... love you all!
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
2 eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 melted butter (not warm)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup bourbon
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts

 to 350 degrees F.

Cream eggs and sugar, then add remaining ingredients. Mix well and pour into pie shell. Bake until top is browned and pie is cooked through, 35 to 45 minutes. Garnish with caramel  ice cream sauce, whipped cream and shaved chocolate.
