You are right - it's important to take advantage of fresh berries while they're in season! A nice use of them to be sure!

Although I usually chose chocolate over fruit desserts, there's something about a nice cobbler that I find so comforting. Blackberries are a great berry for this recipe. Thanks for sharing!

How long until it's golden brown? 30 minutes? Or should I just keep checking the oven? Can't wait to try the recipe out! Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful!! If you miss the fresh season you can still make this with Oregon canned Blackberries in syrup. Just leave out the water and sugar.

I have to stop looking at desserts. Ones with fruit are so right for the summer and this looks just right for my table. Thanks Claudia.

This looks gorgeous - I love anything with berries in. I have a blackberry bush at the end of my garden (which my housemate and I only discovered about a year after moving in lol) so will have to rustle this one up when they come through

I can verify to everyone that this is hands down one of the very best cobbler recipes around. I use cream instead of milk and my husband has me add more sugar for his sweet tooth. This IS DELICIOUS!
