Being a Foodbuzz food publisher I am so lucky to be able to sample products like Pace Picante Salsa. They sent me two jars to make a perfect party for any sports day event! We just love this fresh taste of this great salsa, the crunchy baked wings are a perfect way to celebrate your teams event! Coating for wings:
2 1/2 pounds chicken wings
1/4 cup cornmeal
1 envelope taco seasoning mix
2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
3/4 teaspoon salt
In a resealable plastic bag, combine the ingredients. Add chicken wings, a few at a time, and shake to coat.
Place in a single layer on two greased cookie sheet style baking pans. Bake at 350° until the wings are crispy or on the grill if you live in an area you can grill all year.
1 jar Mild Pace Picante Salsa
2 to 3 tablespoons minced cilantro
1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons lime juice
salt and pepper
Take 1/2 cup of pace picante salsa add lime juice. Serve with chicken wings, pour sauce directly over wings, or use as a dip, garnish with cilantro.
