Mexican Cornmeal Baked Chicken Wings With Pace Picante Salsa




Being a Foodbuzz food publisher I am so lucky to be able to sample products like Pace Picante Salsa. They sent me two jars to make a perfect party for any sports day event! We just love this fresh taste of this great salsa, the crunchy baked wings are a perfect way to celebrate your  teams event! Thanks Foodbuzz and Pace for the opportunity and sending me two free jars to share this favorite recipe with everyobe with your awesome sauce!

Coating for wings:

2 1/2 pounds chicken wings
1/4 cup cornmeal
1 envelope taco seasoning mix
2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
3/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

 In a resealable plastic bag, combine the ingredients. Add chicken wings, a few at a time, and shake to coat.

Place in a single layer on two greased cookie sheet style baking pans. Bake at 350° until the wings are crispy or on the grill  if you live in an area you can grill all year.

Salsa sauce:
1 jar Mild Pace Picante Salsa
2 to 3 tablespoons minced cilantro
1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons lime juice
salt and pepper

Take 1/2 cup of pace picante salsa add lime juice. Serve with chicken wings, pour sauce directly over wings, or use as a dip,  garnish with cilantro.
