Nutella Ferrera Rocher Hot Chocolate

Nutella Hot Chocolate/Cocoa  and a little treasure of heaven awaits you on top! If you follow my blog it's no secret that I love Nutella and Ferrero Rocher candy. Since I am obvious a chocolate lover, this cocoa is the  all around perfect pick me up for the colder weather ahead.

Nutella Hot Chocolate/Cocoa Recipe:

1 cup whole milk
3 tablespoons Nutella
1 teaspoon  cocoa powder
Whipped creme in a can for garnish, chocolate shavings, chocolate syrup.  Optional: 1 shot of Frangelico or  Kahlua (Adult version only,  smile !)
Ferrero Rocher Candy
A wonderful garnish!

In a high quality heavy pan,  whisk together the milk, Nutella, cocoa powder.  Simmer for about 5 minutes. Serve with a  shot of Frangelico or Kaluha (if your an adult), top with whipped creme, crushed Ferrero Rocher candy, chocolate syrup drizzle.
I have to tell you it's so confusing is it Hot Cocoa or do you call it Hot Chocolate? Everyone is different....I just know it's delicious! Cheers  :)

That hot chocolate looks so lovely Claudia, and I ♥ Nutella! Wish the fall weather would have stayed down here a bit longer. It's so humid and hot I turned on the air today.

Love it!
Did you know (and I'm sure you did) that Rocher means "mound" in French? I just learned that this past weekend (since I never learned French it was a new one on me) because I made the Nov. 30th recipe from Payards book: Chocolate Coconut Rochers. They are great but not as good looking as your Hot Chocolate with the Ferrera. Love those little "mounds" of joy.

Excellent idea, adding the nutella to the cocoa! Bravo!

And silly me just finished my coffee shop style hot chocolate. :-(

I have never even had Nutella. I see it everywhere though. I love hot chocolate, so this may be the recipe that makes me try it! I think hot chocolate is made with the melted chocolate while hot cocoa is made with the powder. You should also link this to my Fat Camp Friday!

Claudia I love this! You served it so perfectly too. I'm definitely going to try your recipe, I can't seem to get my fill on Nutella lately. I use both words, I guess it depends on the day.
