1 can of bavarian style sauerkraut
1 package of swiss cheese
1 bottle of thousand island dressing
1 loaf of seedless rye bread
spreadable whipped butter
Cook corn beef in crockpot with 1/4 cup of water and seasoning packet it comes with on low around 5 to 6 hours. Take out and slice.
Take two slices of rye and butter one side of each. In a large fry pan, lay on side down. Layer starting with cheese, kraut, dressing meat and end with more cheese. Melt a tablespoon of butter in a large electric fry pan or griddle. Place sandwich on butter side down and toast on both sides till browned evenly. Serve with more thousand island dressing.
