Chicken Parm Poppers

Chicken Parmesan Poppers. One of our favorite game day appetizers. Chunks of cut up Chicken Breast, rolled in a Italian bread crumb mixture, baked until golden and topped with marinara and mozzarella....

I line the baking pan with tin foil and add a few tablespoons of canola oil.

So easy by using a plastic bag to shake the chicken in add its evenly coated all around the pieces.

Cut into thick chunks, this makes a better presentation and won't dry out while baking.

Three boneless chicken breasts cut up into cubes
Italian flavored bread crumbs
Grating cheese
2 teaspoons of minced garlic
1 cup of half and half or milk
1 baggie gallon sized
marinara sauce bottled or homemade
shredded mozzarella
oil
foil
toothpicks
Place cut up chicken in a bowl of half and half.
Put cheese, bread crumbs, minced garlic, in a large baggie gallon size. Shake the bag to mix ingredients. Add cut up moistened chicken in the bag and shake. Place on a baking sheet lined with foil and oiled. Bake at 400 till brown. Remove from oven, pour sauce on top, shredded mozzarella, and more grating cheese, place in oven till cheese melts. Put on large platter and use toothpicks for this appetizer.
