Corn Fritter Doughnuts


Simple and delicious you will get addicted to these delicate little fritters....hard to resist!





2 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons sugar
2 eggs
1 cup milk
4 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup canned corn
confectionary sugar to sprinkle on these:
Mix everything in a bowl except for corn fold in last...
Drop by tablespoons in a deep fryer for at least 5 minutes or till browned.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar serve warm....

Oh wow I love corn fritters! I like to use creamed corn in mine. Never thought about serving them with powdered sugar though.

This is almost the same recipe we always had as kids and I LOVE these. They're awesome with maple syrup on them, too.
